These itineraries will take you by car to beautiful, accessible spots: green mountain landscapes, rivers, charming villages dotted with “hórreos” (stone granaries) and stone crosses, rural “pazos” (ancestral homes) and historical gardens, forts, hundreds of churches, convents and monasteries, characteristic fishing and medieval villages, prehistoric settlements and megalithic monuments. And, of course, Spain’s most important coastline, made up of the famous Rías Baixas and Rías Altas (estuaries), where the mountains meet the sea, and the rugged, mythical Costa da Morte.
